EPISODE FIVE: THE TAPES LIE
The wire taps were the only physical evidence against Pamela Smart, so the questions remain:
Was Pamela Smart acting when she was recorded by the Derry Police and Cecelia Pierce? She says she was.
Were the wire taps edited or spliced? Forensics audiologists say yes.
Who transcribed the tapes? The prosecutor says some "secretary" in the Attorney General's office, not a certified transcriber.
Mel dives deep into the tapes in this episode and even manages to get her hands on the famed transcripts.

EPISODE SIX: THE SPIRIT OF THE STAIRWAY
